For our third collaboration with Barrel Of Monks, we transfered a Belgian-style blonde ale into wine barrels and added elderberries, along with our house culture of wild yeast and bacteria. Barrel aging for 14 months transformed this beer into a surprisingly wine-like ale with a deep violet color. Fruity aromatics with notes of berries and jam lead to refreshing acidity and a tannic finish. 8%.
