Uppercase Poems is our double barrel-aged barleywine fermented with our mixed culture of wild yeast and bacteria. Created with an immense amount of English caramel malts and a touch of chocolate malt, this beer is full bodied and silky smooth with a hint of tartness.
This version of Uppercase Poems was first aged in a heavy char American Oak cask before finishing in an Italian Marsala wine barrel. The Italian Marsala barrel amplifies the dark fruit notes contributed by our yeast while lending vinous notes. This wine-like beer has very little to no carbonation.
