This Sour Red Ale is inspired by our favorite Flanders Red Ales of Belgium, and is blended from barrels aged 8, 18, and 26 months. We then refermented with dark sweet organic cherries and conditioned on organic Madagascar vanilla beans. This beer pours deep red with vibrant notes of sweet cherries, various dark fruits, and soft French oak tannins. Madagascar vanilla beans provide some sweetness to contrast with the acidic nature of this style, while contributing additional complexity and nuance.
